Join Computography Lab and Get OlyProbe

Computography Lab is a community of photographers using Olympus/OM SYSTEM professional-tier cameras who want to simplify their workflow and enhance their creativity by mastering the increasingly complex options offered by these cameras. Supported cameras currently include OM-1 Mark II, OM-1, E-M1X, E-M1 Mark III, E-M1 Mark II, E-M1, and E-M5 Mark II.

Faced with a growing array of controls and settings for advanced and computational photography, new camera users struggle with a steep learning curve and experienced users with the challenge of remembering and reusing their most effective setting configurations.

To ease this journey, we offer the OlyProbe app and the Computography Lab community of OlyProbe users.

OlyProbe is a powerful, free Windows app designed to help all photographers get the most out of their cameras.

  • Reveal nearly 200 different camera controls and, for each control, all possible settings, including ones hidden to other applications
  • Create custom configuration recipes — we call them “cheats” — from current camera settings and EXIF data in RAW and JPEG image files
  • Save, compare, edit, test, reuse, and share an unlimited number of configuration cheats
  • Use the unique Bracket Analyzer to automatically create cheats from bracket shot sets, even multi-bracket sequences
  • Combine settings from camera probes and image data to create rich, reusable “super cheats”
  • Load cheats into the camera to fully configure all desired settings with a single click

Computography Lab is a free community website where OlyProbe users publish their best cheats and explore and download great cheats created by other OlyProbe users.

To join the community and get the OlyProbe app, fill out the form below and you will receive an email with instructions for downloading the app. We will only use the information you provide to establish your community presence and communicate with you. We don't publish or share your personal information with anyone else for any purpose.

We use the Microsoft Store for downloading and updating the OlyProbe app and managing our beta testing program, so beta testers joining the community should be sure to provide an email address linked to their Microsoft account to enable access to beta program code.

When OlyProbe is connected to your Computography Lab account, it also contributes your registered cameras’ capability records — camera model, firmware, and settings surface, never a serial number or a photo — to the community capability database that helps OlyProbe safely support more camera models. Deleting your account removes these records.
